Louisianna Barbecue Sauce
This sauce recipe comes from my grandfather, J.L. "Dad" Hodges, who was born late in the 19th century on Elm Grove Plantation, in Bossier Parish, Louisiana.
  1. Pour all into a pot and boil until thick. Skim off butter as it seperates out.
  2. This sauce will readily burn; it's best served with cooked meats. (Persons in my family in disagreement with this claim are invited to put up their own website.)
