Becky's Flank Steak
- 1 flank steak, about 1-1/2 to 2 lbs
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
There are two methods of preparation for this flank steak:
- Marinate whole steak in remaining ingredients overnight then grill over hot coals until medium rare; slice on bias.
- Slice meat on bias, marinate slices in remaining ingredients overnight, then skewer on satay sticks (bamboo skewers) and grill. In this case, serve with Satay Sauce (qv)
