Italian Meatloaf
  1. Combine all ingredients except the ham and the cheese. On an 18" x 10" sheet of foil, spread mixture into a 3/4" thick rectangle. Cover this with the ham slices, then the cheese slices. Carefully roll the meat up into a cylinder then pinch the seams together.
  2. Lay this roll seam side down on the foil, then form the foil around the meatloaf into a cradle. Puncture the foil, but not the meatloaf, in several places with a knife.
  3. Put the foil-lined loaf on a rack in a baking dish and bake at 325°for one hour. Let sit fifteen minutes, covered, before slicing.
